Thanks to Christine for the challenge. Here are 25 random things about me.
1. I am a wood dragon. In the Sexagenary calender used by the Chinese, five elements (earth, water, metal, fire, wood) are used for a five year cycle, while a 12 animal zodiac is used for a 12 year cycle. The 60th birthday is an auspicious occasion, as one has lived a full life.
2. I hate neckties, but I like shirts with Mandarin collars.
3. I have two cameras manufactured by Canon. I think of my DSLR as my "big gun" and the smaller point-and-shoot as my "CCW."
4. I have a yellow belt in Taekwondo.
5. I miss South Korea.
6. I believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, and there is no other way to enter into the presence of our Father except through Him.
7. I am a terrible Sabbathkeeper, but I am working on it.
8. I am a loner, but one of the good guys.
9. I believe that professional wrestling features better writing compared to the major political parties in the US.
10. I like history, photography, and travel.
11. Korean movies are better than Thai movies.

14. One of my earliest memories is falling asleep seconds after Star Trek came on one night. I wanted to see it, and got as far as the title of the episode. It was "Spock's Brain." It would be nearly ten years before I saw the episode all the way through. I'm old school, so call me a Trekkie.
15. If my next computer isn't an Apple, then there won't be a next computer.
16. The only brand names to which I feel any loyalty to are Apple Computer, The North Face, Canon, Epson, and Cabela's.
17. Classical music agitates me. I find it easier to relax to rock music.
18. Of the three car accidents in which I was involved, only one was my fault. I hate cars.
19. I need to learn Thai massage.
20. I am an Idealist. It is the price I pay for having been f'n pragmatic and facing reality all my life.
21. I have no desire to return to the US. There is more of the world to see.
22. Closed minds, closed hearts, closed caskets. One. Same.

24. Seoul, South Korea; Bangkok, Thailand; Vientiane, Laos; Washington, DC. Four world capitals I have visited. Got a long list of places to go before the end.

I don't care about the USA either. If I were to ever settle there, New York City, Boston, or California would be the only places I would consider.
